Bicycle, roller blade, and boat rentals are available nearby. The neighborhood is a wonderful oasis in the heart of the city, near the University of Washington, Ballard, and the Woodland Park Zoo. Downtown Seattle and the famous Pike Place Market are just a 10 minute drive away.
